To our local Ooh La Luxe babes, how great was that weekend without rain? It seems like it’s been forever since we got a full weekend filled with sunshine here in Sonoma County!
In light of the warm weekend, I made the most of it and gathered up some of my girlfriends for wine tasting in Napa Valley! We went to one of my favorite wineries, Frank Family Vineyards; their sparkling wines are fantastic and exclusive to the tasting room - I highly recommend stopping there on your next trip to Napa.
But, as I write this on a dreary Monday morning, I reflect on that little taste of the Spring we’ve been wanting and the Summer we are waiting for. Especially since our stores and online shop are filled with the cutest shoes for Spring/Summer. The pedicures that I get are done hiding underneath my boots...I am ready for open toe season!
My current favorite is our Giovana Heel! Our Giovana heel is 2.75", and features thick double straps in what I believe to be the perfect nude color. A heel like this is a closet necessity! Plus, this pair can easily be dressed down for everyday use or dressed up for a special occasion - we paired them with our Santorini Set, and I am nothing short of in love with that combo.
Additional styles I’m excited about are our Caris Mule, Minah Espadrille Sandal, and our Tony Sneaker. Our Caris Mule Heel is a gorgeous warm chestnut color with small tribal-inspired detailing; this color will pop when paired with your favorite blue jeans and a basic tee.
The Minah Espadrille Sandal reminds me of what a Boho Baby Spice would wear; they are a baby pink peep toe with a tweed platform heel. I suggest pairing these with a romper, or a high-low skirt, the extra height (and a good tan) will make your legs look 👌🏻
Lastly, and if you’ve already clicked on the link you’re probably thinking “But Olivia? I thought you said you were ready for open toe season?” To that, I plead the fifth. Our Tony Sneakers add some oomph to the classic slip-on style. I’m always looking for everyday casual pieces, and this pair will be my next addition!
