Drinking this right now as I’m typing this. This is going to be my go-to green smoothie for a while to get this booty back in shape! My detox green smoothie with chia seeds also has yummy pineapple and banana to cut through the spinach flavor, and a little unsweetened almond milk to make it super creamy.
Have you tried chia seeds yet? They are basically the superfood from the gods. You should be able to find them in a normal grocery store.
Just one tablespoon of chia seeds give you amazing health benefits from antioxidants, fiber, a huge energy and metabolism boost, and will keep you full (which is why it’s perfect for a meal replacement smoothie!) You don’t notice or taste them at all, so it’s great to sneak them in like this 😉

- 1 cup Spinach: 12 calories
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk: 30 calories
- 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks: 100 calories
- 1 banana: 90 calories
- 1 tbsp chia seeds: 40 calories
Total: 272 calories
